COMMERCIAL CARPET MAINTENANCE

Once the carpet has been selected and installed, and your soil control systems are in place, it’s recommended that you setup a carpet maintenance plan.

A carpet maintenance plan will include a system which may include water extraction, low moisture encapsulation or dry extraction.

Our proposed process of cleaning and schedule will follow two key guidelines:

1. Your carpet manufacturers specifications
2. Industry standards of the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification)

OUR METHODS

  • Low moisture - Typically reserved for interim maintenance. Process includes an encapsulate applied the the carpeting and mechanical agitation with the machine similar to the one below.

INTERIM MAINTENANCE

Also called appearance cleaning. These measures remove some amounts of surface soil that vacuuming cannot address.

Options include foam, dry compound and encapsulation cleaning.

  • Wet extraction - Typically reserved for restorative cleaning. Also known as hot water extraction. Process includes pre-vacuuming, applying a detergent, mechanically agitating, and then rinse extracting.

Restorative Cleaning

When interim or appearance cleanings are no longer effective and extraction cleaning must be done. This brings the carpet back to the cleanest state reasonable possible.Options include hot water extraction and dry compound extraction.

Proper cleaning will keep your carpet looking great for its full lifetime, help improve your indoor air quality, and keep your carpet warranties intact. Cleaning your carpet properly is easier than you think. All it takes is a little knowledge about how to select the right carpet cleaning products and most appropriate method for cleaning your carpet.
