What is Host Dry?

HOST Dry Extraction Cleaner is a soft, natural product that is environmentally responsible and works in much the same way as an ordinary kitchen sponge. Host is used to wash and absorb dirt from your carpet fibers. The soft, organic, natural HOST extractorSPONGES contain all the necessary liquid to dissolve and absorb both water based and oil based dirt. It’s moistened with water and a blend of environmentally responsible ingredients.

* XL North Grab Dry is not a HOST product. Testing of the sample size revealed the HOST Dry Sponges were difficult to remove from the woven pattern of the product. Further testing will be done.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON HOST DRY CARPET CLEANER

HOST is Green Seal Certified. More specifically, HOST Dry Extraction Cleaner has been shown by Green Seal to pass performance testing, be nontoxic, contain readily biodegradable ingredients, have low VOC’s, be noncorrosive to skin or eyes, be nonsensitizing to skin, have responsible packaging, contain no optical brighteners, contain no ozone-depleting compounds, contain no intentionally added carcinogens, reproductive toxins or heavy metals, not be combustible, not cause eutrophication, provide excellent training.

HOST dry extraction cleaners are United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) certified biobased products that contain 100% USDA certified biobased content by weight, and are the only dry carpet cleaners that have earned USDA BioPreferred desgination for Federal preferred purchasing(ASTM test method D6866).

Using the HOST Dry Extraction Carpet Cleaning System contributes to earning credits to achieve and maintain building certification. Unlike other green cleaning systems, the HOST System goes beyond green cleaning and may contribute to credits regarding water and wastewater conservation, energy conservation, and Integrated Pest Management.

HOST dry extraction cleaners, HOST PREP and HOST Spot Remover are proven as both cleaners and / or spot removers under the international third-party testing conducted by Woolsafe. Woolsafe Approved Certification means that a product cleans well, that it will not damage fibers or colors, and that it does not leave a residue that would promote rapid resoiling.
